Past the city line the van does the reaching. Upper Manhattan is a bridge crossing away, Yonkers and Mount Vernon sit twenty to twenty-five minutes up the Major Deegan, and Pelham, New Rochelle and northern Queens run half an hour or a bit more. Here is the honest trade-off. Driving the car to us is faster every time, because the glass is already on the shelf and the tools, the primer and the recalibration gear are all in one building.
